A crescent moon shaped opal in blue and green tones inside solid clear glass with a cobalt blue background. Its such a fun technique!

I melt the opal inside a tube of Pyrex glass until it is completely encapsulated and then put a deep cobalt blue glass on the back round to make the moon sparkle even more.
